A lovely hotel and pub with restaurant room about 15 minutes up the coast from Whitby. A great place to go for an evening meal or even lunch if you have ventured a little way up the coast.

A gorgeous little village full of pubs, shops and cafes. You can walk there via the Cinder Trail/ Cliff top path (slightly longer) or get a bus/taxi one or both ways!

Walk up the 199 steps to check out Whitby Abbey a former monastery whose ruins now sit on the cliff top at the East side of town. You can take in wonderful views back across Whitby from here too.

Take a boat trip one way or return to Scarborough (you could get the bus back to Whitby or vice versa) and take in the Yorkshire Coast's rugged coastline as well as hopefully seeing some wildlife too! There have been many sightings of dolphins on our coast over the last 2/3 years.
