Not fancy, but a different option, is a Nicaraguan restaurant. My favorite item on the menu is Canoa de Maduro, whole ripe plantain filled with choice of beef, chicken, or pork and topped with mozzarella.

Park is within walking distance of the house. A nice place to walk or play Frisbee, fly a kite or have a picnic lunch. There is also a nice playground here for the kids. And there are lots of photo opportunities around the pond, etc.

Do I really need to say anything about this? I guess you may not know that you can ride to the top in the little round pods and see a great view of the city from windows at the top. Nice park area surrounds.

City Museum lot parking is just $5 but cash only. There are parking meters on the street nearby.
