The closest large post office. Lines can be long and service poor, but that's Chicago. On the plus side, they do have machines where you can buy postage, and they have slots to drop off your items.

Nori is close to the El tracks and is open late if you need Japanese. I find it loud and the sushi a bit over-elaborate, but this place has been around forever and is always packed.

This pan-Asian place tucked under the El tracks has a very wide selection of cheap and good eats. Try the curry/roti appetizer, it is amazing.

It's Wrigley Field, people. It's about a mile away, so we are close, but not *too* close to the action, if you know what I mean. Walk or take the train 2 stops.
