Independent - One of the first to descend on Marrickville, pioneering the craft brew scene, this is a must stop if you're brewery hopping. Batch offer a broad range of styles, with lip-puckering sours, hoppy ales and rich dark beers. Their American Pale Ale is a great benchmark for the style, and their sours hit the spot when the sun is at its brightest.

Sauce do hoppy ales really well, their Hop Sauce Pale Ale a good entry beer into more hoppy styles of beer. Bubble & Squeak NEIPA is a personal fave from their core range.

Independent - If gin is your tipple, Poor Toms have a great little core range worth stopping in for. I'm easily sold on their Sydney Dry gin with tonic, but they also offer some delectable cocktails and spin chilled tunes in a very laid back space.

Ooh...if you need to restock on hot sauce, they also sell their house made fermented hot chilli sauce...yum! Arrive early or a keep a loose itinerary for the day ahead if heading here on the weekend.
