The Brijuni National Park The Briijuni Archipelago is an attractive group of 14 islands located in the south of the Istrian peninsula. The main island Veli Brijun is a Croatian National Park open to visitors, and is an extraordinary blend of natural, historical and cultural heritage. In the past, the island was a favourite with Austrian, Hungarian and German aristocracy. - Do not miss Lim bay -

LIM BAY (Cro: LIMSKI KANAL) is a natural 13 km long fjord (channel) into the mainland, which is both a natural marvel and a gastronomic heaven. Having seen it many times we keep returning to it enjoy shellfish grown in the Lim Bay. We like to enjoy them in a nearby restaurant 'VIKING', but you can also eat them taken directly from the water where they are grown. We recommend Tony’s oyster shack where you can taste oysters, doodles and mussels. With champagne in one hand and oysters in the other, you can round off your hedonistic experience with a drop of olive oil (our choice is CHIAVALON).
