Opatija is the oldest tourist destination in Croatia and one of the first in Europe. A favourite destinatioin both in winter and summer visited by hundreds of thousands of tourists every year. Opatija offers beautiful parks, beaches and a 10km coastal promenade Lungomare. There are many restaurants, caffe bars and shops around the main city road, everyone will find something they enjoy.

Volosko, a fishing village where life has long been oriented towards the sea, is today a very popular gourmet destination with excellent restaurants. Everything is made in Mediterranean style with stone and narrow streets that hide several art galleries and ateliers. The heart of Volosko is a small fishing harbour which is used today for many different events (local vocal groups, jazz music and more). Lungomare, a 10 km long sea-side promenade starts in Volosko and goes all the way to Lovran.
