I really love this tiny Mexican restaurant and take away place. Very fresh organic food, good choice for vegetarians as well.
Love the liquados and their extremely sweet deserts.
Can be very busy.

Wonderful place in the middle of the park, very nearby. Small inside, but with a large terrace with sunny places or shade. Service is rather slow, but it's a nice spot to relax and 'people watch'.

Italian tapas. I like the atmosphere and service perhaps even better than the food. The host is a warm lady with a great sense of humour, treating the guests as friends.

Real Italian food. Tiny place, often full of Italians, which tells me enough. Have eaten there many times and have never been disappointed. (Make a reservation to be sure to have a spot (or ask me).)

Excellent coffee. We buy our beans here. Also, indulge in the huge 'stroopwafel', a flat waffle with sirop, caramel or honey inside. Large enough for 2 people. Small terrace.

Great Indonesian food. Very different from the other Asian kitchens but also exquisite food. This particular restaurant is very good and has gentle service, unlike many other restaurants in Amsterdam.
