This is the perfect place to take a round trip with the boat to Stansstad, the steepest cogwheel in Europe up to mount Pilatus, down on the other side with the cable car back to Lucerne. Spectacular!

Here you can walk on the old ramparts of Lucerne, climb some of the original towers and enjoy one of the best views of the city. Only from Easter till sometime in October. Don't miss the watch tower!

Lucerne's claim to fame: the old wodden bridge. A must for any visitor to Lucerne. Notice that the relings of the bridge are not of the same height. Guess why :-). Also notice the old pictures.
