At the end of our block is one of the loveliest parks in the area. Their are trails suitable for walking and for biking. There are tennis courts and even a small public golf course. The Park is closed to traffic on Sundays, so it’s a great spot for any outdoor activity.

This is best little food market in the area and it’s not far from our home. You can find anything you need, including great wines. And the fresh fruits and vegetables are great. They also have a variety of prepared foods, from meals to snacks to desserts.

Amano is one of my favorite Takoma Park stores. This eclectic collection of women’s clothing, shoes and jewelry is quintessential Takoma Park: relaxed, comfortable, fine natural fabrics and lovely unique items.
