This place is our go-to cafe during the day! You can enjoy a quick walk to Florence to grab some espresso or coffee and some delicious homemade bakeries/pastries. They also have delicious gelato and ice cream swirls during summer months! Grab a bite and then take the long way home through the Lachine Canal for a perfect morning coffee run!

Clarke’s is an Italian cafe, it has some delicious sandwiches and also great coffee! P.S they’re Nutella cones are A1, 10/10 recommend

This place is our go-to for late night fast food! They’re open super late and are most likely available on all delivery apps. They have better deals on pizza when you go in person!

If you’re looking for a chill night to explore the old port, we recommend putting on your walking shoes and going for a long stroll from our place to the old port (~30 mins walk), grabbing some food from here, and then continuing your stroll!

The vibes here are 10/10, especially if you manage to grab a seat by their window! Our personal favorites: latte + Nutella cone OR latte + apple cheesecake. If you’re unsure about wanting coffee or ice cream, get the affogato (pistachio or hazelnut), trust us on this one!!! 😩😋

If you like good dumplings, this is seriously the best we’ve tried in the city. You have to go to this specific location (Maisonneuve). We love the seafood dumplings (egg, shrimp, leek) and the vegetarian ones (shiitake mushrooms, cabbage, vermicelli). Also, you absolutely should get the extra peanut butter sauce on the side, it tastes soooo much better!

Qing Hua Dumpling
1675 Boulevard de Maisonneuve OIf you like good dumplings, this is seriously the best we’ve tried in the city. You have to go to this specific location (Maisonneuve). We love the seafood dumplings (egg, shrimp, leek) and the vegetarian ones (shiitake mushrooms, cabbage, vermicelli). Also, you absolutely should get the extra peanut butter sauce on the side, it tastes soooo much better!

This place seriously has the best Turkish food I’ve tasted in the entire city! The food is super fresh, everything is delicious, and they have the best service! It’s a family owned business and they are simply the best! Don’t skip out on the desert: Turkish baklava and tea, the baklava literally melts in your mouth! 😋

If you’re looking to shop around I’d recommend going here. They have most stores and it’s connected to the metro (McGill metro). Part of the mall is an underground mall. It also has a cool new “Time-Out Market Montreal” that recently opened!
