Kidd Springs Recreation Center is located in Oak Cliff and was originally owned by Colonel James W. Kidd. Kidd Springs has a large spring fed lake where many Dallas residents learned to swim. The recreation center has a state of the art fitness center overlooking the lake, large and small meeting rooms and a gymnasium.
