Sightseeing
There are many stores to investigate and several restaurants too. The Native Brews Brewery has some interesting flavors in beers and a fun menu. The Oconaluftee river is very picturesque. There are many trails in this area too.

This paved trail along the Tuckaseegee River is an easy walk. Even suitable for strollers or wheel chairs. Paved parking and public restrooms.

There are 8 different tube rental companies nearby. If you rent you get a ride to the put in location. Or buy your own at Walmart or bring something from home, remember doing your own requires two vehicles. I can fill you in on a great put in location and take out if you choose.
