Backing on to st catherines hill nature reserve, you have woodland and lovely walks right on your doorstep, you can even see the Isle of Wight. A walk away is a parade of shops, a convenience store, launderette, and eatery serving meals and beverages. There is also a beauty salon! A bit of a further walk away is the river stour, which has a walk along the river, also very peaceful.
