The home of golf, where Wills met Kate, oldest university in Scotland and spectacular old buildings and beach. Take the signposted tourist route to the town/motorway back. A 1 day trip. Magnificent.

A wonder of engineering and with the road bridge as it's partner. Spectacular sight. And a third bridge is being built also. Nice restaurants also.
