Raglan Castle is a late medieval castle located just north of the village of Raglan in the country of Monmouthshire in South East Wales.
Its one of the last true castles to be built in Wales. Its construction began in the 1430's by Sir William ap Thomas, the Blue Knight of Gwent who fought at the Battle of Agincourt with King Henry V in 1415.

Isca, variously specified as Isca Augusta or Isca Silurum, was the site of a Roman legionary fortress and settlement or vicious, the remains of which lie beneath parts of the present-day suburban village of Caerleon in the north of the cit of Newport in South Wales.
