We are lucky that the closest restaurant is also one of the best in the city. The menu changes seasonally and is always delicious. Check their website as they take a winter and summer break. They recently started taking reservations (phone only); however, we just go early (they open at 5 pm) and never have a problem getting seated.

Thump is within walking distance of the apartment. They have amazing house-roated beans and espresso drinks. They also have vegan snacks. They also serve beer if you've had enough coffee! It's a great place to work if you need a change of pace.

Table 6 has a creative and rotating menu. I'd recommend making a reservation via OpenTable if you want to make sure you get a table on the weekends. It's a short walk and the wine menu will not disappoint.

Jelly is within walking distance to our place. The breakfast and brunch scene is quite busy on the weekends but it is worth it. During the week, you can get a table pretty quickly. On the weekends, you'll have to wait if you don't go when they open.

If you want to try Fruition, you'll need a reservation and do it well in advance. It's farm to table New American cuisine. It's pricey but so worth it if you want a fancy night out.

Liks Ice Cream is just north of Cheesman Park. It's a nice stop after a walk around the park. They do close sometimes during the winter so check their website before you head that direction.

Easy walk to get to restaurants at 7th and Logan. So many good choices in this area but we love Carboy’s patio, excellent servers, and yummy wine.

While I'm partial to Cheesman Park (and it's so close), City Park is a great place to go for a walk/run/bike ride or go visit the Zoo or the Museum of Nature and Science.

Cherry Creek North and Cherry Creek Shopping Center have a mix of local shops and standard high end mall stores. There are tons of great restaurants in the Cherry Creek area. Again, some are local and some are chains. I'd take an uber here because it is a little over a mile but I've also take a Denver Bcycle there since we have a stop by our house and their are several docks in Cherry Creek.
