If you arrive in Tasmania on the Spirit of Tasmania I or II - then River Vibes is a 6 minute drive from the Spirit of Tasmania Terminal - so if you disembark from the Spirit and need accommodation - River Vibes is just down the road. Alternatively if you are embarking and want to see a little of Devonport before you leave - stay overnight at River Vibes.
Alternatively you may fly in or out of Devonport Airport which is just 10 minutes from River Vibes.
Which ever transport you arrive by or from which part of the world you come from - we would love you to stay at River Vibes
Latrobe is a beautiful historic town. It has free parking and great coffee. There are numerous eateries, plenty of gorgeous shops - Amelda Shoes, Reliquaire (must see), Wells Clothing and Crafts, Monclair of Latrobe, Grange Antiques, A Sweet Craving, Hael XIII , The Crowded Lounge, Pots of Love, Flowers on Gilbert, Hill Street Grocer and House of Anvers. Its my favourite town to visit and shop.

Latrobe
Latrobe is a beautiful historic town. It has free parking and great coffee. There are numerous eateries, plenty of gorgeous shops - Amelda Shoes, Reliquaire (must see), Wells Clothing and Crafts, Monclair of Latrobe, Grange Antiques, A Sweet Craving, Hael XIII , The Crowded Lounge, Pots of Love, Flowers on Gilbert, Hill Street Grocer and House of Anvers. Its my favourite town to visit and shop.
Our family holiday every year at Port Sorell and spend time at Hawley Beach and surrounds. Its beautiful beaches and coastline is unspoilt and serene. The water is crystal clear, the soft white sand beneath your toes is calming and the rugged rocks picturesque.

Love Penguin. Its a great place for a beer and burger too. This is a cute town with a BIG Penguin. Its between Burnie and Ulverstone and just 25 minutes from River Vibes. Also visit Mount Montgomery, Hiscutt Park and Mt Gnomon is about 10 minutes from Penguin.

Cradle Mountain is unique: a beautiful wilderness and all things pristine. Wildlife is in abundance in this spectacular National Park - just an hour and half from Devonport.

Boat Harbour is a small seaside township located about 15 kilometres from Wynyard on the North West Coast of Tassie. The beach is what it's all about. Crystal clear blue water and white sand.

Verona Italian Restaurant is a very nice place to enjoy a great coffee, beautiful food and great ambience. It has a great wine bar as well. Check out the decor - it just has a great vibe.

Mrs Jones Restaurant Bar and Lounge - upper end in price but a great place to dine. Great service, great food and very well trained staff. It overlooks the beach at the Devonport Bluff and picturesque location is a must see and dine.

Drift is located at the Bluff Devonport - downstairs. (Mrs Jones is upstairs). Drift offers great dining in or you can sit outside on the bean bags and enjoy a wine or two. Sometimes they have music vibes happening - depending on the weather.

Stay at River Vibes and see Devonport and surrounds
Getting around Devonport (and Tasmania) by car is very easy. There are so many attractions and things to do and basing yourself at River Vibes is perfect to see the North West Coast and all it has to offer. We live in the best part of the State and I'd recommend that you stay longer than an overnight because Devonport and surrounds has so many beautiful attractions and places to see and do.
