The Municipal Gallery building in Metaxourgeio (Leonidou-Myllerou) is one of the oldest neoclassical Athens, designed by Danish architect Christian Hansen. The Municipal Gallery building in Metaxourgeio (Leonidou-Myllerou) is one of the oldest neoclassical Athens, designed by Danish architect Christian Hansen. Worked as silk factory until 1875 and its presence there and gave the name to the region.
