Come on the 1st Saturday of the month for the art crawl for tons of art, wine, and appetizers at a dozen galleries or any other time during the day both in the Arcade and on this stretch of 5th avenue we call "5th Avenue of the Arts".

World-class food, music, and shopping. If you want honkytonks go to Broadway. If you want sophisticated entertainment, go to the Gulch. Either way, they're both super walkable.

This is where you can find the honky-tonks, bars, shopping, tourist dives, and most of what Nashville is famous for. There are literally blocks and blocks of bars and music venues. Most feature country music but there are also pop, rock, and even jazz clubs here. The scene is hopping with throngs of happy tourists (and lots of bachelorettes!) walking around, taking it all in, singing, and sometimes getting rowdy. Don't bother driving in this area -- the sidewalks are super-wide and the crosswalks support all-directions crossing to make it easier on the packed crowds of pedestrians. Parking is scarce and can be expensive. Best to use Lyft or public transportation or park farther out.

It's the largest nature preserve in the US that's inside a city limit. It's got beautiful sights, lots of nature, hiking trails, and a great place to walk, jog, bird-watch, or just be one with nature.

Another area with incredible food and shopping
Biscuits, southern food, and ambiance. Lots of quaint little shops surround this iconic southern food mecca. It's worth the long-ish drive there and the wait once you get there. Plus, the wait gives you time to check out the cool little shops. I particularly recommend it for a weekend brunch but just keep in mind wait time will be quite a bit then.
