A different approach to Seville tapas as it is an Asian & Peruvian fusion (And is DOWNSTAIRS!!). Booking highly recommended. Recommendations: the selection of ‘nigiris’ and the ‘capirotes de gambas’.

One of the top places to have tapas in Seville and definitely the best in ‘Alameda de Hercules’ area. Recommendations: Everything. My Top3: ‘Verdura en tempura', ‘Risotto 4 quesos’ & ‘Tataki de atún’.

[TAPAS] It is not very pintoresque but with some excellent tapas. Recommendations: The ‘paella’ (which can be served in tapas), the 'Spanish tortilla with sauce' and the selection of fried fish.

At the heart of Triana this bar is at the top of my list. Great quality and service but go early (before 9:00) if you don’t want to queue. Recom: ‘rosada al limón con pimientitos’ & ‘bacalao dorado'.

[FLAMENCO] (Non-organised Show). This is a local bar and the entertainment is spontaneous and different every night. Anselma, the owner of the bar is quite a character. Go after 23h (no entrance fee).

[COCKTAILS - 'EMBARCADERO'] My favourite spot in Triana. Keep your eyes open or you will miss the entrance door (very small). The view of the other side of Seville from the River’s bank is amazing.

Very central place with delicious cocktails for a reasonable price. There isn’t a wide variety but they serve classics (such as margarita, mojito or cosmopolitan) in a very original way.

Sightseeing
A defensive tower built in the 13th century, almost at the end of the Moslem period. Today is the home of the city naval museum. It has a good view but there are better (Giralda, Metropol Parasol).

A place to visit if you are the least interested in travelling in the footsteps of Hemingway or Picasso. Good tour with very nice guides that will give you an insight in this ancient tradition.

If you get a ticket for the cathedral you can enter the Giralda as well. 36 Floors to the top but certainly worth the climb. What a View. Just Beautiful!

This is the largest church by airvolume in the World (see Guinness World records). Visiting Sevilla it is a must to go inside this fantastic Gothic cathedral. Take your time, and enjoy the interior.

A real architectural gem. You can spend hours walking around the gardens. Don't miss the water organ in the garden! Prepare to spend at least a few hours wandering around... it's worth it!

Like going back in time. Maze of narrow, cultural streets. Wonderful area to get lost in for a couple of hours, to see the old cobblestone streets, gift and art shops. A lovely stroll.

A privately owned Moorish villa, with Roman/Greco sculptures and beautiful Moorish tiles and wall decorations. Extremely well presented and similar to the Alcazar in atmosphere but on a smaller scale.

The church is a vivid example of the Baroque style. The icons and paintings are wonderful. It is worth a guided tour or audio tour (2 to 3€) to have a better idea of the history behind the art works.

A must visit. An amazing palace surrounded by gardens. The cost for renting a boat for 4 persons (duration about 30 minutes) was only 5 euro! You had the feeling that you live in a past era.

Bordered by 'Plaza de España', you can walk through the park and stop off by the fountains or the bird's island. Set aside some time for a visit, you won't regret it!

Everyone goes to Plaza de España and misses this gem. The square, work of Aníbal González is part of the artistic urban site created for the IberoAmerican Exhibition in 1929.

This beautiful little church was built between 1759 and 1815 as a sailors' chapel. See the striking statue of the Esperanza de Triana-The Virgin of Hope. There is a striking statue of Christ as well.

Perhaps it does not fit that much in the old town architectural style. However, if you are looking for a good vista of Seville don't hesitate to go up. Highly recommended in the sunset!

While the church itself is stunning, it's the treasury and details that will blow you away. The Madonna is used for the Easter parades and holds a special place in the hearts of the Seville people.

[FLAMENCO] This is the #1 destination for all the major large tour operators. Not all that authentic but a BIG production. The performance is incredible but pricey (35€ ticket + 1 drink).

[FLAMENCO] Similar style to "Tablao de los Gallos". Both with a very reliable level of performances. The guitar playing is fantastic and the dancers are amazing, dancing with passion and emotion.
