On Sunday morning there is always a nice market (it can be food, vintage, antiques), if you are in Florence on Sunday stop by here.
During the day and especially in the evening you will find many bars and clubs where you can drink a cocktail and be in the center of Florentine nightlife. The most historic venues are the "Volume" and the "Cabiria".

Check the TIMETABLE OF THE ZTL (limited traffic zone) on the website of the Municipality of Florence or on the website of the Municipal Police of Florence + in which area your car can be parked without problems + if you want, how to buy an entrance in the ZTL cameras. All this is very important in order not to take one or more fines.
