Sandia Peak Tramway, the longest aerial tramway in the United States, stretches from the northeast edge Albuquerque to the crestline of the Sandia Mountains. Miles of underground caves. Paved, guided walking tours through part of the cave. If you visit at the right time of the year, you can even watch bat migrations with thousands and thousands of bats taking flight in the night sky at the same moment.

It is mind blowing that in 100 degree weather just a short walk down some stairs there is a frozen pond in the middle of the desert.
