If you want to stay somewhere more lively, I would suggest Kelowna, Penticton or Osoyoos and you can drive, take a tour, or charter a private car. Vancouver’s most popular summer vacation destination where locals escape for some fun on the lake! Boat and sea food rentals available. Depending on which city you stay, the drive from Vancouver is about 4-5 hours.
