You can buy in marché d'Aligre fresh fruits, vegetables and other french specialities before 2pm (outside market), but there's also an indoor market and small shops around. At night during the summer season, bars put tables on the plazza and you can order drinks and food outside and enjoy the sunlight.

My favourite french cuisine close to the flat. It can be a bit pricy but definitely worth it.

Vélib (shared bikes) is quite easy and enjoyable
Using vélib for visiting Paris (especially biking along la Seine) is such a nice experience when the weather allows it. You'll enjoy the little things to see in Paris and it's pretty straight forward.
The cost is quite interesting (I think it's 3 to 10€ a day, for an electric bike)

For both big museums (like le Louvre, Versailles, etc.) try to book in advance. Same goes for parties, the price is usually higher when you're buying it there, and it can save you time from queuing.
