It has just been extended and there is a really nice cafe/restaurant attached to it that is great for working or catching up with friends. From here you could walk either 10 mins towards Camberwell for even more nice cafes and eateries or same distance towards Peckham staying on the same road

A 30 mins walk or a short bus ride from the flat. It is certainly worth checking out, for the observatory and the amazing view of the city from the park. There are lots of restaurants, cafes and pubs around there too. There is a cinema there too, Picture House.

If you have time, it is worth taking the Tube/Overground to Hampstead Heath. My favorite park in London.
