One of our favourites. This inside/outside riverside café offers stunning views of the Yarra River, great coffee and original menu items, as well as live music on Sundays. We love it because you can cycle there (borrow our bikes) along the bicycle/walking track in under 15 minutes, or walk there in 45 minutes--and tram home. Avoid peak times at weekends.

The number 16 tram (stop #65) is located at the end of our street next to the station on Glenferrie Road. The tram in this direction will go via Malvern, St Kilda Beach, and the City, ending at the University of Melbourne.
If you cross Glenferrie Road, the no. 16 tram is located outside the Kooyong Village Shops and this direction will take you to the bustling Hawthorn precinct where the tram line ends.
