Although, for safety reasons, the oldest bar in Sandpoint had to discontinue axe throwing, the Tervan still features an Americanized-version of hammerschlagen, and, for those from other parts of the country, the novelty of being able to smoke cigarettes indoors. It's like going back in time. Plus, they have karaoke on the weekends!

In its new location, it's the closest restaurant. Classic Italian fare. The Artichoke Hearts Francaise is a killer appetizer.

It's not my favorite, but those who like it won't settle for anything less. The toppings are abundant, to say the least.

All small towns have a cool historic theater and this is ours. If there's a performance, go. You won't be disappointed. (Incidentally, I played the role of Professor Plum in Clue.)
