Great Mexican food and great margaritas! My favorite meal is the enchiladas with a pineapple mezcal margarita. Lively ambience and well decorated.

This Peruvian restaurant offer ethnic dishes in a beautiful ambiance together with full bar. Try the pisco sours, they are delicious. Upscale and great for a different type of cuisine!

A visit to the historic California mission, the creek, and time to sip coffee or a drink at one of the many establishments can fill an afternoon or evening with plenty of entertainment. Thursday night farmers market is a local favorite with farm produce, food, and street performers aplenty.

Local Wineries
A family owned premiere winery only minutes from the casita with a beautiful tasting room and outdoor tasting areas. They have many varietal wines and are well known for excellent Pinot noir and Chardonnay and Syrah.
This is a great winery and tasting room that also offers local agricultural gift products.

This winery’s tasting room is only 1 mile from the casita and features a great variety of wines including those grown in warmer temperatures in our north county. They have a great Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel from warmer vineyards in our county.

Chamisal was completely replanted in Dijon and Pommard clones from France in the early to mid nineties and offers superior Pinot noir and Chardonnay and has a great outdoor tasting space located in the vineyard.

Allow 2-3 hours for the round trip, longer if you stop to eat.
This is a nice flat walk over the bluffs at the ocean with spectacular views of the pacific and the coastline. It starts near spooner’s cove and heads south. Convenient parking off the road near the start. You can do this walk in 1-2 hours.
