Becker Vineyards is a classic winery on the route to Fredericksburg. I would argue it has the best Cabernet Sauvignon in all of the hill country, but try everything and see what you think! There is a great outdoor space so after you taste, buy a bottle and relax - depending on the time of year you might be in a field of lavender or zinnias!

Johnson City, Texas is a sweet little town known for their Christmas lights at the Pedernales Electric Company headquarters as well as being home to the childhood home of the 36th president of the United States, Lyndon B. Johnson.

LBJ's ranch house is still situated on the acreage the family used during the presidency including the herd of hereford cattle from LBJ's original herd. You can visit Air Force One as well as other insights into the tumultuous 1960s.
