Please note that it only open from Wednesday to Sunday. If weather permits there is a lovely garden to eat al fresco.

The George Hotel (www.thegeorgehathersage.com) at the bottom of the road, is newly refurbished throughout and has a great atmosphere for both drinks in the bar and a meal out.
The George also provide very good takeaway pizza.

The Plough Inn is a family run pub just over a mile out of the village (towards Grindleford). With lovely log fires, great food and a lovely outdoor area, its definitely worth a visit.
Not only does the Plough serve great food, it also has a fantastic selection of wine, and serves a very good pint!

There are plenty of pubs and eateries in Castleton.
