The Barbican is the start of The Hoe and is the home to lots of local and amazing food restaurants, boutique shops, award winning fish and chips and lots of history including The Mayflower Steps, where the first pilgrims are believed to have finally set off on their voyage to settle in Nort America in 1620

This was newly refurbished for 2020 and is definitely one to visit if you want to learn a bit about the History of Plymouth.

For The Kids
This is along the waterfront and a fantastic place to go with the kids especially if you don't want to get in the car! it has a great park, a Pirate park and in the peak season the train, bouncy castle and other rides are open! It's also close to a gret place to get ice cream, waffles and child friendly food!

Come rain or shine - this is a must see attraction when in Plymouth and is only a short walk over the hill to the barbican and across the foot bridge!

Come rain or shine - this is a must see attraction when in Plymouth and is only a short walk over the hill to the barbican and across the foot bridge!
This is our favourite National Trust place, a 15 minute drive. If you are a member you can visit the house and grounds or if not them there is a lovely trail walk around the house completely free and perfect for families. It's just shy of 3 miles for the complete loop.

One of our favourites (it's not just Sushi!)
A really great experience and fantastic presentation when you dine in but they also do takeaway options (usually with a discount when you collect).
You will need to book and the menu and details are online!
