Fantastic brunch overlooking the Leith shore. They do great avo dishes and veggie smoothies to sort you out from the night before. In the evening they also do lovely wine and share platters.

just a 10 minute walk from the house takes you down to Wardie Bay and then onto Newhaven harbour..locals like to have a wee dip in the Bay, myself included!

Great walk along sea front out to Cramond. Takes a good 1-1.5 hours and if the tides are right (do be careful with this) take the option to walk out to Cramond Island or pop and have some warming cullen skink at the local cafe :)

Fabulous hill walks right on Edinburghs doorstep - go onto walk highlands to get different route options and either get the bus out to Flotterstone or Balerno. Allow a good few hours and make sure you are dressed appropriately for hill walking and it can get chilly up there!
