This place has dozens of types of restaurants. It's great if you're already in the area checking out the High Line. Do yourself a favor. Grab a Popsicle or taco from Chelsea Market and walk on up to the High Line. Enjoy the scenes and the food together!

Please go to Anchor wine bar for breakfast/ brunch while you're staying in Hamilton Heights. They have AMAZING breakfast food. Especially the potatoes. Their portions are large and they have a cozy atmosphere. Definitely check it out. I heard it's a cute date spot as well for dinner and wine.

Their portions are large and they have a cozy atmosphere. Definitely check it out. I heard it's a cute date spot as well for dinner and wine.
If you're looking for diner food that is pretty inexpensive, Coral is your spot. It's tiny and wholesome with a very home-like feel.

This place is TINY. But it has the best burger you'll ever have in your life. It's a fusion of Pakistani BBQ and American. The owner is Sibte. Ask him for a hand-squeezed Limeade to finish your trip to heaven.

The good thing about living up north is avoiding the long lines of The Halal Guys in midtown. This is their first b&m store. Get the combo with tons of white sauce and if you're feeling daring, a dot of red sauce.

One of the best brunches in the city. Everything from the burger to the chicken and waffles and pancakes is delicious. Beware the long lines though. Get there promptly at 5:30 pm for dinner to stand in line or early in the morning for brunch.

If you want to get a work out in, they have a track, gym, pool, ice skating rink, basketball court, and everything in between. There's also a lovely restaurant at the gate on 145th and Riverside.

Take the Metro north train from 125th Harlem station or Grand Central. Takes about an hour- but you will have the best hike yet! I go up here a couple of times a month. I absolutely love it- perfect for the day you want to really sweat it out and be one with nature.
