Food Scene
One of the finest restaurants in Maine rests within a few minute drive. The owner, James is a friend to everyone local and his restaurant is an amazing place that has quiet dinners most nights, live music on some nights and the best brunch around on Sunday mornings. They also have a bar so feel free to swing by and just have a few drinks! I can personally recommend the ENTIRE menu but in particular if you are there for brunch, don't pass up the home made donuts which are made from scratch to order and are like nothing you've ever had.

Yet another very well respected restaurant within minutes of my home. Expect high quality food on par with any restaurant in downtown Portland but without dealing with the crowds of people. I personally recommend everything on their menu but their Lobster Cones are incredibly unique and follow it with their grilled filet mignon with foie gras butter for an incredible meal. They also have a very nice bar area serving their menu and drinks.

Pizza Delivery. There are several major chains local but many of them won't deliver to this address, specifically Pizza Hut and Dominos. Pizza Time will happily deliver, the food is quick and the pizza is decent. You won't be raving about it but you won't be hungry. :)

Parks & Nature
This trail runs from NH to the ocean but the best parts of it run from Sebago Lake through Westbrook and my house is exactly right in the middle of that portion. You can enter the trail nearby and go left for the bustling downtown and beautiful park walks along the river or right to head up river, through the scenic vistas and private wooded areas. Particularily beautiful in the summer and during leap peeping season!

Find a parking space and walk around during the day for touristy stuff, go at night for amazing nightlife.

If you would like to take the Portland Metro, this is the closest place to park and hop on the bus. Behind CVS is a large parking lot that is free to park. You can take the bus into Portland from here so you can skip paying for parking.
