Loads of flea markets, independent shops and good pubs. Well worth a wander about. You can either get the bus in or I recommend North St car park. About £1 an hour to park. Free parking is available on Sundays.

Around here you can walk for miles or just a short round on the incredible Ashdown Forest. Look out for deer!
