Kokoro has some of the best ramen we've ever eaten. Every special occasion, we go here to get noodles. They also have nice prepackaged sushi. This place has a modern / hip vibe and is a bit dark inside. Limited beer selection.

Yamamori is a higher-end sushi restaurant. They have amazing food but be prepared to spend a bit if you're hungry. They serve black rice by default, which -- if you've never had it before -- tastes a bit like barley. If you don't have a very adventurous palate, you can ask for white rice. We strongly recommend the strawberry lemonade cocktail, as well.

A wonderful, old pub (dating to 1766) with some comfortable snugs and good pints. A great starting point for a night out down George's Street.

There are lots of interactive exhibits: dress like a medieval peasant, learn about the excavation of Wood Quay (just down the hill toward the river), and learn about the expansion of the city over the past thousand years!

Trinity College Library's "Long Room", arguably one of the world's most beautiful libraries, contains the famous Brian Boru harp and is a fantastic spot to take some photos (without flash!).

The campus is open to the public and -- along with the beautiful architecture and cobblestone courtyards -- boasts the Book of Kells, "a masterwork of Western calligraphy...widely regarded as Ireland's finest national treasure." Trinity College Library's "Long Room", arguably one of the world's most beautiful libraries, contains the famous Brian Boru harp and is a fantastic spot to take some photos (without flash!).
