Very short hiking trails that are good for kids or the less physically inclined. Nice mountain views that are really nice at sunset. I would recommend driving in your car because there is no access to this park via the neighborhood. Also leave your dog and bicycle at home because they are not allowed in this park.

I would recommend driving in your car because there is no access to this park via the neighborhood. Also leave your dog and bicycle at home because they are not allowed in this park.
Nice intermediate hiking trail, close to downtown Boise, that will give you some good cardio and excellent views of the city and foothills. You can also drive up to the top if you're not in the mood for a hike.

About 30 miles of paved walking trails along the Boise river. Great for some outdoor exercise. Google "Fish Park Glenwood Bridge" for the closest place to jump on the Greenbelt. If you head east, this will take you all the way downtown, albeit it is good walk, more suited toward something with wheels.
