Food Scene

Very popular restaurant along Shore road in Innellan. Traditional Sunday lunch is excellent, as are their burgers, steaks and fish . It’s always busy, so you need to book at least a week ahead.

Royal Bar
Great for takeaway fresh fish and chips, lots of our guests bring them back to eat on the deck whilst looking out over the Clyde estuary. We have plates and cutlery, and glasses . So pop into the wine bar for a chilled bottle of wine . It’s only a 10 minute drive away.

A lot of our guests have popped into the Lorne for dinner if our two local restaurants have been full. Admittedly it’s about a 15 minutes drive away, but the bar is full of atmosphere and the food is good. Check out their website.

If you are into walking or cycling there are masses of tracks to choose from. The forestry and land Scotland have a great website that shows all the walks in detail. You don’t even need the car. Paths shoot off from 50 m away from our home. And the local bus service will provide transport back. From our front door the track leads up into the forest. From here you walk to Toward and back, head over to Dunoon or just take a short walk and see the views over to Bute and Arran Other great apps and websites to check out Walkhighlands and Outdoor active
