Our place is in”Burd-ector” (Burdett/Hector) with 24 wineries in a 10 mile strip. We’ll touch on a few- if you need more, there are about 60 around the lake.
This is just across the street. Nice family owned business with a long history. Wines are very good, especially reds. I

We watched this being built and their parking lot is always jammed- must be because of the good wines they serve. Food trucks here most weekends along with music.

This is a hidden gem- small family owned and great wines- hand picked grapes. Private tastings available. Location is secluded within their vineyard- very quiet, away from highway traffic. We dare you to leave this place without a case of their dry Riesling !

The Forge has only been here a couple years, but tastings/tours are booked online only. No sign, so you have to know where it is- just up the road turn 1st right on Matthews Road- top of hill on left- big black buildings. They have other wineries in California & Europe.
