Food Scene
There is a rather large range of eating experiences in the area, and there is something I love about all of them. I try to be very upfront about the experiences, so you can decide what you think works for you.
Packers is great spot to grab a drink or dinner, pub style right on the water. Pierside dining room is also in the resort, but my favorite is the pub for ambiance at night.

Big Al's Diner

Sunday brunch, or breakfast any day, on the water airy "beach" decor. A bit pricier, but very nice. They do dinner as well, the food is excellent, but I like them better as a great spot for breakfast due to the "beachier" ambiance. Same kitchen as Packers.

Tsunami burger. This is one of those worth it kind of burgers. Grilled, not battered and deep fried, fish burger heaven (tender, juicy, perfectly grilled). Do not expect consistent service, or upscale dining, but it is one of my local favorites. The rest of the menu is probably fine, but when you can have this burger... why do anything else???

If you like oysters.... you will love these, local, tasty, prepared right in front of you, and super friendly owners. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

While there is not a lot of late night life in the area, there are a few areas with fun afternoon summer and evening live music/dancing.
Live music on most weekends, waterfront location, amazing sunsets, good food but only until 9pm
