Their hand grenade is really good but don't get carried away or you'll end up face down in the street and believe me, you do not want that! One should be enough.

Really good drinks. The courtyard is beautiful and romantic. I personally love the fountains and the piano bar is pretty fun.

This used to be one of my favorite places when I lived around the corner. I love their boudin balls. They also have a great burger and local favorites but Steak Night is my favorite (Wed & Thurs)

Food is good and reasonably priced. I don't drink beer so I can't speak to that aspect but the service has always been good. Had my photography on display here a few years back during PhotoNola.

My favorite wing place. Wings are crispy with great homemade sauces. Get them coated in the sauce or use it as a side to dip in. Featured on Man vs Food on the Travel Channel w/ Adam Richman.

Favorite place for boiled seafood. They are open Tues-Sat and offer a different all you can eat boiled special each night which includes the sides: mushrooms, potatoes, sausage, etc. Amazing!!

I love her petit fours and cake balls. If only I had a reason to buy an actual cake from her. I know it would be just as good as everything else she makes. LOVE the red velvet & king cake flavors.

Great sushi, reasonably priced. Love the Haru Maki. They don't have the hibachi show tables but the food tastes just the same. I love their hibachi chicken and even more when I get it delivered.

They serve a delicious brunch. Last time I visited, you could order from the menu or enjoy the buffet with lots of yummy options. Not sure if the buffet is still an option but it so good.

The menu is extensive. Enjoy an entree or order appetizers and you can try several things. The Cajun music band makes it a lively atmosphere. The bread pudding is to die for.

This place has got AMAZING burgers. So big and juicy with lots of possible topping combinations. This is one of my sister's favorite spots when she comes to visit.

I have never had a bad meal here. I really like the BBQ but honestly the sides are what keep me coming back. My favorites are the corn pudding and the sweet potato souffle.

The food is amazing, of course. The staff were professional but welcoming & not stuffy at all like you might expect. The Friday lunch option made it possible for my family to enjoy this institution.

One of my sister's favorites. I love their unique flavors. This is not your average ice cream shop. Sooo many flavors to try. They do give samples but don't forget to actually buy a cone.

Great food, good service, friendly staff, prices were cheap considering it's the Quarter. Typical diner fare with local additions like etouffee, red beans & rice, gumbo . . no frills just good food!

Arts & Culture
The museum has both national and international artist work of art but also local New Orleans and Louisiana art. You could easily spend 4-5 hours here looking at all the exhibits and still not see it all.

I visited the museum to help with a special event while doing AmeriCorps in the city a few years ago. It's not very large but the grand white house is beautiful and I'd suggest than it was quality over quantity in regards to the works that were displayed when I visited.

The Laura plantation is one of my favorite plantation tours. It is the plantation where the stories of Brer Rabbit were conceived and it has a long history of female owners/caretakers. It's definitely one of the best I think.
