Another LA classic spot, a little further than some i have listed in Los Feliz. French style cafe, bistrot bustling with locals that seek that European cafe culture feeling. I suggest going here between the hours of 4pm- 7pm for their Happy Hour. the food is decent but the main reason to go is the ambience and scene.

This is one of my favourite places in LA. Amazing programming of live music events and many other things too. You can also just go for drinks in the bar and hang out in the court yard, you'll meet some of LA's trendiest people there.

Classy, classic bar in Silverlake. Amazing selection of cocktails and great wines in the little wine bar out the back. Try a Negroni and drink it on the little terrace outside. A must in LA.

One of my favourite places to watch live music in LA, their diverse programming is spot on and super cool.
Try going on a Sunday night for Part-Time Punks; a night of Dark Wave/ Post Punk. Local bands play there every night of the week too.
