The heart of the city… lots of events here, from flicks on the bricks (summer outdoor movies) to farmers markets and musical performances. Awesome people watching, and it's the MAX transfer station.

The Portland Waterfront is awesome for walking, biking, Unipiper sightings, and events from the Rose Festival to the Blues. The bike/walk path crosses all but the freeway bridges.

This is one of our favorite happy hour spots. The bar is classic, the service and food are excellent, and the drinks (from 4-6 nightly) are cheap! It's also one of our favorite brunch spots--the crab eggs benedict are to die for!
