Town Information

ch’atlich (Sechelt) is just a 40-minute ferry ride from West Vancouver, followed by a 27km/17mi drive up Highway 101. The town is a small community sitting on a sandbar, which separates Sechelt Inlet from the Salish Sea. This charming seaside town serves as a central hub for exploring the southern Sunshine Coast, where it’s easy to go sightseeing and take day trips to the neighboring communities of Halfmoon Bay, Roberts Creek, Pender Harbour, or Egmont. It’s also the perfect launching point for boating & paddling excursions to the surrounding fjords, including Narrows, Salmon, and Sechelt Inlet.
