Repeatedly comes out as number one on trip advisor. This is a tiny, intimate restaurant with a stripped down menu offering the best of seasonal locally sourced ingredients

Great for summer sun downers
Abbey Wharf has a fantastic terrace overlooking the harbour. Food is pretty good too. Be warned that it can get very lively! Hosts bands, DJ nights and norther soul.

Market PlaceHighly recommend by past guests. Great beers brewed on the premises and a fab view of the abbey. It’s a hike up the 199 steps though!

Recommended by past guests for great real ale and atmosphere. Situated in the station with views to the abbey and of the steam trains arriving. CAMRA award winning. Also have local fisherman’s choirs in singing regularly.
