Sightseeing
Stunning views of the island of Langkawi & neighbouring Thai islands at the top of the Cable Car. There is a local coffee shop at the top for you take a break with a hot or cold drink. Many attactions below at the Oriental Village with cafes and restaurants to choose from. We advise you go early around 8.30am to escape the long lines and tourist group buses arriving around 10am.
FUN FACT : The Mat Cincang Mountain Range where the Cable Car sits is older than the Everest by about 100million years old.

This is a lovely quaint little Coffee Cafe at the base of the Telaga Tujuh waterfalls that serve both refreshing cold or invigorating hot coffee.
My personal favourite are the cold coffees served with an Ice Coffee Bear.

There is a lovely quaint coffeeshop with great coffee at the base of the trail to the waterfall BEWARE : Rocks are slippery, do not go near the edge. DO NOT feed the monkeys and keep an eye on your belongings. Not recommendable on rainy days as the rocks are especially slippery. Very close to the Cable Car.

With her dying breath she cursed the island of Langkawi with inactivity for 7 generations. The “curse” was lifted several years ago and the sleepy island of Langkawi has started to florish. Inside are local houses said to be the original houses of the people in the Legend of Mahsuri. You can sample and buy local malay sweets desserts and batik cloth. Please visit the museum for a better understanding of the history of the island and the legends of Langkawi. Local stalls all around for those wanting to sample northern Laksa.
