Brookland is a well located neighborhood in NE DC. Its large collection of churches and monuments and Catholic University have some calling it 'Little Rome'. There are great restaurants and places to visit on 12th Street and plenty of nice walks do do near the house.

Sightseeing
DC is a great place to see flowering trees, bird watch and walk walk walk... the National Arboretum has it all. If you are lucky you will see the nesting bald eagles who have made the highest point in the arboretum their own.
