During the daytime the area is packed with merchants and their customers, hordes of shoppers and many tourists. You may have delicious street foods at Eminonu. And Grand Bazaar is very nearby.

Omg! Its a total disaster because of crowd but in meanwhile it'll be worth when you get to the top of the tower. Also the rumours said you're going to marry whoever you go up to the top of the tower. (:
And there is a specific restaurant near the tower called "Günay Restaurant". You should eat and enjoy the scene.

This is the best coffee and cocktail bar ever in the neighbourhood! Everybody knows each other in the place! Their bartenders and waiters are my close friends, just say hi for me. And the head bartender Doğuş will give you the best whiskey sour in the entire world :p They have no sitting spaces, because of that all neighbours get together on the sidewalks.
