Rottingdean - Plenty of buses go there, a delightful old world village on the coast with Kipling’s Gardens and nearby Grange Museum. There is a carpark just as you enter the village.

Nice place for a stroll on a sunny day if you like boats. Places to drink and eat there alfresco overlooking the marina.

The Lanes - Lots of tourists, quaint alleyways and small jewellery shops.
The North Laines -More interesting area with bags of small independent shops, cafes and restaurants. If you are lucky there will be buskers around.

Hove Lagoon - Marks the western end of the promenade. The Lagoon area has trainee windsurfing, skateboarding, childrens’ play area and a good café. It takes about 30 minutes to walk there from here, hour round trip.

It is certainly a destination place these days loaded with choice of coffee shops and cafes for breakfast, brunch or afternoon tea. There are also restaurants of every kind. Take your pick from Italian, Indian, Mediterranean Tapas, Thai and more. Or if you just want a drink there are several drinking venues including specialist beer and gin venues. Throw in a little boutique shopping if you fancy too!
