One of the best beaches I have been to. The Atlantic side can have big waves. If this is not for you, go to the river side of the island where it is much calmer. There are plenty of restaurants to have a long lunch.

Well worth a visit to see the abandoned fishing anchors. If want to rent a sun bed you will need to phone and book.
